Holidays without him

by Xx Chrissi xX   Jul 17, 2007

The happy times she thinks of,
And misses them so much,
Sometimes she misses hugging him,
And reaching for his touch.

She knows it's all her fault,
That she probably over-reacted,
And now she's left him on his own,
She left him feeling rejected.

The holidays spent with him,
Were usually such fun,
Play fights and messing around,
Sitting in the sun.

She knows it's all her fault,
That she probably over-reacted,
And now she's left him on his own,
She left him feeling rejected.

The holidays are coming up,
And she's spending them without him,
But she keeps the loneliness she feels,
Locked carefully within.

She knows it's all her fault,
That she probably over-reacted,
And now she's left him on his own,
She left him feeling rejected.

But the last holiday she spent with him,
It didn't go so good,
He told her things she shouldn't hear,
But he probably thought she should.

The way he talked of her step-brother,
Made her feel sick with hate,
And she's not sure she'll ever forgive him,
Not until it's too late.
