Inspired amid the fiery pits,
I'm helplessly in awe of emotion,
By thought I've come to the notion,
That knowing may not be everything,
Believing, seeing, being, and needing,
A soul would bleed for love,
Feeding the demon,
I'm reaching for strength from above
Suffering so hard for one thing-
Something that will get me nothing,
and nowhere,
a place where the need for more floats through the air,
The addiction experiment,
Aimless bliss and nothingness,
Hence again I'm helpless,
But I'm enjoying this bargain,
As does the Sargent,
Binge his bitter beer on his break from brutal battle.

---

He knows he had too much but he wants more,
Communion with the facade once more,

I don't know if you really understood it. It's talking about drug addiction.

I agree that the vocabulary is stunning and the end is interesting but well written. The flow is flawless, and the point of this piece is awesome. Somehow I understood it with just one read it unlike those who have commented before...

The ending was rather off I thought, but a good read. Although it doesn't appear to have structure, it does. I do rather like this one.

Very good vocabulary you have. I enjoed the message. And I only got lost and had to re-read lines a few times. It was a nicely written poem.
