Tell me you're ok........

I don't know where you are,
I don't know if you are ok,
i don't know if you ae alive or dead,
i can't believe its ended this way.

You've seen things in me,
that no one else has ever seen,
i've let you into places,
no one else has ever been.

I could always turn to you,
i'd trust you with my life,
You where always there for me,
even though i turned to a knife.

Now, our time has drawn to a close,
Do all those years mean nothing to you?
Was i just another pupil, part of work?
Just something you "had to do"?

Things we told each other,
will never be repeated,
converations, times we shared,
i'll never forget they can't be deleted.

I didn't always tell the total truth,
about the way i feel,
but everything that happened,
i swear to you was real.

our friendship hasn't been easy,
but we've worked our way through it all,
ignored the comments and snide remarks,
there when the other would fall.

the last time i saw you,
you looked as rough as hell,
"i'll tell you next time i see you"
Is all you would tell.

but now you've disappeared,
and i'm no longer in school,
I don't know if your even alive,
and i'm feeling such a fool.

i don't know which is worse,
me having to say goodbye,
or not knowing if your alright,
this could be one time you see me cry.

Please, just give me a sign,
Let me know that you are ok,
cos i can't just let this all go,
I can't leave it this way............

* I guess i should exlain this poem a bit, I have a good friend who is also a teacher. I have now left school after completeing my exams, i was supposed to see her before i left. but since then she has vanashed into mid air. This is just a poem which i wrote allowing me to let of some steam. thank you*
