The Stream

by Tracy D Rollings   Jul 17, 2007

Quiet walk through the woods as I came upon a stream
flowing ever so peacefully picture perfect view it seem
yet the setting was just right , flowers and planets grew about
as the water tinkled over the rocks it let out a little mist
mixed with the fragrances from the flowers in the surrounding
releasing a heavenly scent like no other of it's kind.
As I begin to walk along the stream , the sounds came alive,
birds chirping in the trees, as little critters play about on the ground
nature unfolds and the true beauty burst into light right before me.
Along the way the sounds of a waterfall got even louder and
the mist in the air was thick as the wind blew a cool breeze
the water was sparkling as it ran over the rocks and fell into the lagoon below.
Standing there at that time in my life, can never forget that site
crystal clear reflections, reflected off the water creating a wonder
variety of different colors which transformed into a brilliant rainbow.
The grass was as green as you have ever seen, around the banks
as the water splashed into the rocks below. I had for once in my life captured the pure Essenes of nature from it's own heart, never ending beauty forever flowing at a steady pace for all to see.©2007 Tracydr42
