Floating around her (Quatern)

by my name is Llama   Jul 18, 2007

A floury of people floating slowly around her
She felt as if she were in a dream
Unable to find who she was looking for
If only they would call her name

She had waited for this moment for so long
A floury of people floating slowly around her
Blocked her from seeing clearly
From finding what she had been waiting for

Searching through the crowd one by one
Attempting to decipher the faces before her
A floury of people floating slowly around her
Would she reach him in time?

She glanced at her watch, tick tock tick tock
He wasn't coming; she knew she must give up
Turning around, then walking away
A floury of people floating slowly around her

I liked the story that this poem was portraying and the poem flowed really well but i had a slight problem with the rhyming. In the first stanza you rhymed the words her and for then you repeated the rhymes in a following stanza. It just irked me a little bit but still a good poem overall.
