My best friend her eyes so bright,
i know where shes gone, shes gone to the light,
i know ill wake up during the night,
what happened today she put up a fight.

My wonderful dog so strong and true,
held her head high even when she was blue,
she made me realise that my life is great,
to me this dog is my soul mate.

The day she died the fight she put up,
she never let us down even when she was a pup.
she made me smile when ever she see me,
i just know that my dog will be looking over me.

its true what they say dogs mans best friend,
we honestly thought she was on the mend.
the blood she received made her so strong,
but god we didn't realise how really we was wrong.

the tumor passed through one organ to another,
she is my best friend and there wont be any other.
shes up there in heaven where thoughs little dogs play,
i knew right then that i will be with her some day.

Misty my love was true as true can be,
she put her life on the line to save my family,
waking us up in the middle of the night,
she was such a brave dog,
the brave dog who put up the fight.
