Soft Sincerity

by Rahl The Layman Lord   Jul 18, 2007

True love betrays a lie
Myriad feelings will not hide

Honesty rides a breath
Sending forth a passions words
Never seeing what is said
Only a fleeting caress

Emotions untold
Innocents preserved

Patience and the turn of time
Coming forth to tell a tale
Of moist lips and warm skin
A single brush of thoughts

A constructed spell
Fueled from within

Emotion's will enchanted
Resistance swept away
Leaving bare the human soul
Truth inevitably exposed

Why deny truth
Why deny Love
All has been revealed

    "Emotion's will enchanted
Resistance swept away" I especially loved those two lines. The poem was good, I love the way in which the words flow, full of emotions..
