God's Greatest Gift

by Cindy   Jul 18, 2007

Through the hazy mist
One hot summer morn
Remembering the joyous day
My baby boy was born

Love filled my soul
Like nothing ever known
A tiny little angel
To call my very own

All my pain forgotten
When laid into my arms
Making you a promise
To keep you from all harm

All the smiles and laughter
Stored away in my heart
Memories for me to cherish
For times when we're apart

Life goes by so quickly
Now with babies of your own
I turned around one day
My little boy had grown

God gave me the greatest gift
On that misty summer morn
The present of motherhood
When unto me you were born

I Love You Son

This gave me a smile. :) It also made me understand my parents' feelings better. In due time, it will be my turn to become a mother, too. But... for the moment, I still have to enjoy being and young and single. Lol! Have a beautiful day, Miss Cindy. The last line is very remarkable. "I Love You Son." :) So nice.
