My Work

by Mousie   Jul 18, 2007

Sobbing and in need
My comfort she had sought,
Lonely in her baren room
Grateful for my knock.

Someone sweet to talk to
A new refreshing face,
Conversation enlightens her
A welcomed change of pace.

Frustrated by the help
And angry at his life,
A smiling face renews his view
Releasing all his strife.

What I've just described to you
Is my schedule every day,
This work I do for others
Cures my walls of pure dismay.

this is about my job, and what each day brings to me, the inspiration and life it brings to me. it's not even a job to me, just a way of being, and i enjoy it nevertheless. enjoy

Its a wonderful feeling that helping others can make us feel..and you captured the amazing emotion that it brings as well..its not only good that you help people in such a positive way (whatever it may be), but that you feel good about it, and it makes you happy..keep up the good work!
