Emotional State

The emotions there sitting in front of me,
Tell me please what else must i see,
The grieving parents of mine so shattered,
I'm holding them both together like it never mattered.

The emotional wrecks sitting in them chairs
The glances the looks and even the stares.
I feel like Ive moved on in this state of mind,
Please god tell me have i left them both behind?

Looking back on the fun times and the bad,
mum and dad why do you look so sad?
look at me in the eye and tell me what you see,
i see a little girl staring right back at me.

Theres nothing wrong in crying smiling or laughing too,
don't worry mum n dad ill always look after you.
As these emotions of ours all unfold
i notice how some of the feelings are so cold.

The newest member of the family "Harley" our boy
hes the 8 month old puppy but we know hes not a toy.
Let the emotions Rome wild and run free
because I'm here so put your burdens on me.

She still loves us all no matter what
she approves of our dog "Harley" because do you know what?
if she never he would have known about it
so come on mum and dad wake up out of your emotional fits
