Evil Mans Grasp

by 00moi00   Jul 19, 2007

A deception of affection
A cross of wrong paths
One small child wanders
Within an evil mans grasp.
Cries out so sullen
Yet no one hears
Doubts of accountability
Blood in her tears.
Proclamation of solitude
Clear repressed attitude.
she looks aside
Inner bruising you can hide.
she cuts herself deep
In hope to release
All fears, sad tears
Even this girl appears clear.
She lies, she tries
But inside she dies.
What can you do
When you've got no where to go
No place to turn,
And you feel that low?
Who can hold you when theres no one there?
You lose your breath
Gasping for air.
Dreams left lost in despair
Thoughts so close for death to prepare.
Can't hold it in place
Feels like floating in space.
A black hole of hate
No one can relate.
In her mind it's her fate to lose her quest
Help her get it off her chest.
Soul full of hope
She reaches a had
Two hands reach back
And pull her to land.
To keep her head higher
And put down the knife.
Two hands are there
To keep her on the ground.
The tears, the fears
Are left behind
She can get there with aid
And her new care.
The deception of affection
And cross of wrong paths
Slowly dissipate
In exile of the evil mans grasp
And into two hands.
Palms so wide to help her confide
In a brand new world
With nothing to hide.

My big sister wrote this for me when I turned to her for help about a year ago.

She helped me get better, but now I'm worse then when I went to her for help.

That's depression, it never truly leaves.
