Just One More Chance (Italian Sonnet) {Part Two}

Caressing the rough bark of the locust tree;
She feels the rain as it beats against her skin.
The dismay in her eyes shows thoughts of sins
Yet she thinks saying sorry will set her free,
She folds her hands as she gets onto one knee.
Her own dyeing ways have made her to thin
She thinks of the time he bought her the berlin
And laughs to herself as she says "you and me,
We each carved our name in this locust tree;
If I asked would you say, remember when...
You would walk away before I could begin."
And what could she do but get onto one knee.

Searching the clouds, hoping to find the answer.
But knowing she already knew the truth;
The locust tree stood bearing not a sign,
Answers where found when she became a dancer.
She had loved him sense the early years of youth...
"Just one more chance, baby you make me shine"

Italian Sonnets have 10-11 syllables per line and is composed of an octave (rhyming abbaabba), and a sestet (rhyming cdecde or cdcdcd) or in some variant form, with no closing couplet.

    As a poem ,it's very well written :)
    but you call it a sonnet, a lot of lines have more than 10 syllables, and as far as my knowledge of sonnets go, the syllable count is strict , normally sonnets even have to be in iambic pentameter,
    or was poetic freedom ? :)
