Why Not Just.... ?

How many times have i heard you say
That everything will be okay
You tell me to hold on, hang in there
Don't you see I no longer care
Why not just pull the trigger
Why should I deal with it here
Why not just take more pills
Enough to make sure I kill
Why not just hang from a rope
All because there is no hope
Why not just slit my wrists
Deep enough to not exist
Why not drown under water
And be gone from this place forever??
