Excess Baggage

by Staind Soul   Jul 19, 2007

This pain gets so hard to carry,
This sorrow I'm forced to marry,
I swallow it down to hide,
I walk down this road alone waiting to die,

Oh the solitude the end of the day brings,
It constantly reminds me of things,
The pain of tomorrow,
The constant drowning of sorrow,

I want to be away from myself,
Just another thing to put on the dusty shelf,
Just unzip my skin and disappear,
There is nothing left to revere.
