When I've Been Hurt That Bad

by Bloomed Rose   Jul 19, 2007

You didn't even let us know
I guess you thought you loved him so
The phone let out it's blaring rings
To know the truth has it's stings

You let what you had done come out
Another husband, I had no doubt
Why'd you do it, I felt so betrayed
A different family you had made

It's like you kicked us out the door
For something you weren't ready for
Maybe you found someone better
And so now my pillow's wetter

You did it for something that wouldn't last
I guess you're caught up in the past
But now you're alone, and I'll never forget
I don't think I'll get over it

I know you're trying harder
But you've still left me mad
How can I be forgiving
When I've been hurt that bad . . .

Well, it's about my grandma (wierd, i know) but she's kept a lot from my family lately, she married without us knowing, and now, a year later, she's starting to say that "things didn't work out." I knew it would happen, it happened with the last 5 husbands . . . anyways, another stepgrandpa that my grandma no longer is in "love" with. . That's what this poem is about.
