It Is The End

by Emily   Jul 20, 2007

I'm here,
Floating in the atmosphere,
Wishing you could see me.

The planets come to life,
All but the Earth,
Dormant in its sleep forever.

I wish,
To be kidnapped by the stars,
My only escape, from you.

The comets fall,
More death below,
Another loss, we'll never know.

I hide,
For all of eternity,
Wishing this was all a dream.

Sucked into a black hole,
Listen to the crystal smash,
Indicating, the end, of time.

I cry,
Lurking in the shadows,
Running from the light.

The sea dissolves,
A matter of life,
Stolen by the moon.

I watch,
Wondering why you left,
You took with you my heart.

The revolving universe,
Crying as the galaxies crash.

Awaiting the end,
Awaiting the beginning...

    Thank you so much. <3
I love writing sad poetry heh, I always feel my poems have more substance when they're depressing, if you get my gist. Anyways, thanks for your comments, they mean a lot. =]
