A Message From My Heart

Here I stand again
My heart in my hand
It's 2 a.m. and I'm awake
But my heart slips like sand

I'm treading just to feel a touch
Or to hear a loving word from you
I want to feel your beautiful eyes
Watch my heart pour out before you

It's been a long time I've felt like this
But tonight, is the night I feel I must
I want you to think of me every second
Before this turns into ravage dust

My heart yearns for yours to bind
To connect each others soul as one
Because there is no one else on earth
Who's beauty can easily match the sun

I want to hear you agree on forever
That's what my heart is set upon
Just let me know what you can see
And don't let this night be gone

I know you know I can feel this
That's why I want to be here
I want your arms around mine
For our lips to be painfully near

*Note* Ok ...so really...I wrote this at 2 in the a.m., and writing can usually help me sleep with ease. I've just been tossing and turning for hours with this girl on my mind, so any ways to improve this poem would be useful!! Thanks to you all!!!
