Beautiful Liar (Triple Doditsu)

by Jenni Marie   Jul 20, 2007

Illusive lies, broken oaths
Deceptive mind games were played
Silently mocking, spiteful
Beautiful liar

Hurting me, what you wanted
Succeeded in your mission
Contaminated this love
Beautiful liar

A corrupted soul you own
Tried not to, yet couldn't help
Falling for yet another
Beautiful liar

Doditsu-Consists of 4 lines, syllables going 7-7-7-5
Doesn't rhyme and usually portrays love or humor as as the subject matter.

This is an interesting form that I shall have to try. Flowed very well and a joy to read.

Beautifully written love poem, I enjoyed in every stanza, whole piece is flawless. The first stanza is my favorite. 5/5 from me, great job!
