Neglected Love

Clouds cover the sky
The earth’s heaven begins to cry.

Raindrops bounce from the ground
Rolling thunder the only sound.

The ocean mist fills the air
Lightning hits like a flare.

Neglected Love sits alone in the rain
Endlessly sifting through pain.

Pain can be seen, through ones eyes
Pointless, trying to disguise.

The rain surrenders, in the night
Clouds rolling away, no longer in sight.
