I'll still love you

by grim   Jul 20, 2007

Even though we may not talk all the time
I still miss calling you mine.
I'll miss holding you near,
Kissing your neck as I pull back your hair.
I still love you when you say hateful words.
I can't hold back because you are my world.
I'll follow you to the end of the earth.
As long as you still love me you'll heal the hurt.
When you wish to be left alone,
I can't help but feel your depressing soul.
I want to sit with you and press back your urge
so I can enter and we can merge.
I'll still love you when you give that stinging glare.
For all I wish is to shower you with care.
I'll still adore you when you cripple my heart.
For there's greater ache in store if we drifted apart.
I miss staring into your ocean green eyes.
I can't help but get lost in those tides.
Why can't I move on when you rapture my soul?
How can I keep returning to you whole?
You'll heal me, this I know,
Because as long as you love me, I'll never stay low.
Don't worry about how much pain you cause me.
It's never too great to drench our flame of eternity.
I know you love me as much as I cherish you.
But I'm mature enough to see what you struggle through.
I know you see me as the only one who cares this much.
The only love that's so gentle on the touch.
Fear not, my love, I will keep you safe.
Recognize my willingness to behave.
I love your body, more than you realize.
But to attain it I will not communicate with lies.
Retain that smile and close those thighs.
Lay with me and dream of skies.
Don't sell me sex to keep me here.
There's no price that you need pay for what I share.
I'll freely give my heart to you everyday.
And in return I'll pledge to forever stay.
I'll still love you when you yell so great.
I understand, so I won't seek escape.
I know when you tire out, you fall into my arms.
There I see you protected without alarm.
I know you love me more than you let on.
I see it in the way you hesitate before causing me harm.
I'll still love you and soon you'll realize.
I'm going to remain here for always in your sight.
