As the stars die . . . .

A girl looks out her window up at the sky at stars that died long ago
its only the light left behind from years past that shines on the world below
and as the stars die so do the promises that once consoled her heart
why did he promise that their would never end if it never really had a start?

And as the stars die so does the love he had for her that was once so strong
And now she has no arms to hold her when she is in need or has no place to belong
no tears fal from her eyes but tears fall from her heart that continues for him to burn
She struggles to hide the pain and pretends that she isnt hoping that he will return

She cries out siliently for him and prays that he will come back to her and hold her tight
life without him is just an existance, with no meaning or purpose and nothing feels right
she wants to feel his lips on her lips, his hand in her hand, his soul touching her soul
she doesnt want to feel the way she does without him, incomplete, she wants to feel whole

And as the stars die a tear escapes and starts to roll down her face but doesnt reach the floor

for his hand tenderly wiped away the tear & he whispered i dont wanna be without u nemore

She looks up at him and as the stars die so does the pain in her heart as what he says is true

She cant believe that hes really there but she did believe it when he whispered "I love you"
