Has it always been this way?
I'm choking on the words to say.
I sit out alone and watch the sun set
Thinking of someone, and the day we met.
I wonder if he's thinking of me too,
Needless to say I am thinking of you.
I know its late but always seem to look,
I smile and stare at this photograph we took.
So this is the photo, taken with the lens,
To think that we used to only be friends.
I miss you constantly; it's to much to count,
I'd tell you a number but it's just to big of an amount.
Sometimes I fear that the things I do,
They need to be better; they need to be better for you.
I'm writing you a poem, one that wont fail,
I'm writing you a poem of are fairytale.
I wonder if you know me enough to know,
That I don't ever want to let you go.
I guess there is something that I always knew,
But who could have guessed it had to do with you.
I just don't want anything to go wrong,
Because oh my god you waited for me for so long.
I stare at these cobalt colored balloons,
All I need is to see you soon.
I can call you my lover, as well as my best friend,
I can't even think about the day that it ends.
So I stare at the photo, taken with the lens,
To think that we used to only be friends.
As I sit and wait, for this phone to ring,
Ill asks for only one more thing.
Please never doubt my feelings for you,
And always remember,
I love you.
