Mary & Lamb

Mary had a little lamb
It's fleece was white as snow
Everywhere that Mary went, Lamb was sure to go
'Till one day Mary starting doing drugs
Lamb was very confused
Mary would go and hang out with her new friends
Leaving Lamb behind
Lamb would sit and wait for Mary, but she would never show
Lamb tried to talk to Mary, about her new found addiction
Mary would ignore him
Days went by
Lamb and Mary no longer talked
'Till one day Lamb had enough of this
He took out the pictures of times that made him smile
Showed Mary and she began to cry and sat down for awhile
"Oh Lamb, how could I be so dumb, so rude, so cruel"
"If only I would have listened, I wouldn't be like this"
"Lamb, please forgive me, take me back as your friend"
But Lamb refused
He was hurt, lost, alone
Mary had left for drugs, she made him hurt that way
