Envy

Amazing how everything seems to twist
the earth does shift
some forgive
all never forget
we swear that we dont think
we promise that we dont remember
i laugh so much
so often
its amazing how you refuse truths that are still there
you say that you dont think about it
yet it shows
as plain as day on your face
no one is stupid
tell whoever you want whatever you want
they tell me
i just laugh
i remember
im not ashamed
i love the memories i have
i am proud of most of them
its hard to heal a wound that you wont let alone
yet i guess thats envy
why i dont know
refusal is expected
afterall thats one of the most infamous traits of the disease
say what you want
wish it differently if you please
it matters not
its just a little envy
