Madame Golem

by RainbowSlider   Jul 21, 2007

At first when she open her eyes;
I thought I had seen a paradise.
But her eyes were full of sadness;
A portal to her wonderful madness.

Talking with this soulless wonder
I imagined how she had pondered
Things I told her before my going
But there was no way of knowing.

Such emptiness and such void
Almost like a brainless android.
I knew there was something there.
Something more than blank stare.

Her mouth opened as to speak.
And words from her lips leaked.
But their substance was wrong
And even the toys were gone.

She resembled a beautiful woman.
Who lived on a beach roaming.
This poor unfortunate totem.
Here's to you Madame Golem.
