Thought's Repast

How can Love's wonders
Choose to fleet
And hide their face away
To let the darkness
So replete
Blot out its reveled day?

How can Love's wonders
Give our hearts
Such gloried consolation
Then leave its raging
Passions felt
To empty desolation?

How can Love's wonders
So enchant
Existence found as bleak
Then in its absence
Dare recant
The answers that we seek?

How can Love's wonders
Be so vast
And quite so close from reach;
How are Love's wonders
Found at last
Without our hate to teach?

Yet another beautiful written, just simply within good message....."Love is on a constant journey to what others need. It must be attentive, caring and open, both to what others say and to what others cannot say. Love says no with empathy and great compassion." Best wishes, Bert.
