The Secrets of Una

by Mr M   Jul 21, 2007

Upon the wings of Beauty's flight,
Your eyes, your smile so set the night
And travel where such wonders soar
To ever touch my heart's implore.

In Nighttime's light of moonbeams falling,
My heart and soul are ever calling
Into a moment's instant sought
Where lies your pleasing love so caught.

Beyond the morrows yet conceived
Lie dreams and hopes of you perceived
Whose beauty reaches my heart so clutched
From a night in passing where our souls once touched.

    Wow. Wow. Wow.
Whenever I come on her I see a lot of poorly written poems that use cheap rhymes and though I try to stay clear of that I still find myself doing it.
    But,
You have made such a beautiful image in my mind with this wonderfully worded piece of poetry and I have to stay it moved me deeply.
Probably the best poem I've read on Poems-And-Quotes.

"Upon the wings of Beauty's flight,
Your eyes, your smile so set the night
And travel where such wonders soar
To ever touch my heart's implore."

    Lovely, absolutely lovely.
