A Few Notes Taken

by Mr M   Jul 21, 2007

Note the faithful evening moon
And how it renders from above
The light I send within the night
That is for you my love.

Note the dawn that hides it there
To safely keep it well
Beneath the dew drops everywhere
Until the eve, again it tells.

Note the days and nights that pass
As you think on days yet born.
Remember the light that my love has
And our moon that never goes outworn.

I somewhat felt an occupational jealousy with this poem. How charming. Gosh, it took my breath away by the comely beauty it brought into life.

Ah! Lovely... Simply lovely, Mr. M... :) I'm utterly enchanted.
