Still Calling

by AmberSherrellxxIve Been Sitting Here Trying To Find Myselfxx   Jul 21, 2007

Blades and razors
Scissors and glass
Have all become part of her past
Cuts and gashes was her fate
But, now the scars are starting to fade
Tears and heartaches were all she knew
Until the day she found you
She told you about her self-mutilation
And how her life was filled with complications
Instead of holding her close, you pushed her away
So her self-control refused to stay
'A cut or two won't do any harm'
She told herself as she placed the edge to her arm
Glass and scissors
Razors and blades
Are still calling her name to this very day.

Another very good poem =) I love how strong the emotions flow through your work and make the reader actually feel them =) But I'd change "was" to "were" in the 4th line, it would fit in better ^_^ All in all a fantastic poem =D 5/5

This was rather good. I am going to be honest I hated the last line...but otherwise very nice.
