Alone

I am alone,
no one cares, not about me,
I am alone,
no one sees me or my tears,
I am alone,
no one hears my cries for help,
I am alone,
there is no one to share my thoughts with,
I am alone,
sometimes, I don't even know if God's still there,
I am alone,
when I call out no one responds,
I am alone,
everyone seems to be gone,
I am alone,
when I hear a little cry,
Am I alone?
i see a little face in the shadows,
Is she alone?
she says yes,
I say why?
she says because her mother died,
I say stay,
for I am alone aswell,
She comes and holds my hands,
and I realize,
I am not alone....
