Forgotten Grief

Consumed with sadness
encircled with grief
trapped in my sorrows
drowning beneath
death drenched pain
envelopes my soul
traumatized
out of control
my grief is deeply barren
now that you are gone
my shadows lurking
into darkness far beyond
my foreboding dreams
that haunt me in the night
lying in my deepest fear
hiding just beyond the light
my soul so distant
my heart aching with grief
i lie in shock
in utter disbelief
i cant believe you left me
i cant believe you're gone
i just wish you'd realize
where it is that you belong
so come down upon your high horse
and get that she dont love you
get that my heart is in pieces
all because of you
my grieving heart cant take no more
so dont leave me here to cry
I'm so fed up with you
and all your pathetic lies
you told me you'd never make me cry
and always be here for me
so i gave you all my trust
and you said we'd always be
but you stand there you watch me cry
you dont catch me when i fall
you didn't even notice
you didn't care at all
your spiteful words hurt my feelings
and your silence brole my heart
the day you lied and said i love you
was the day my world fell apart
so where'd you go
and what caused you to change so much
is it really that easy for you
to forget our every touch
forget the times you made me laugh
forget the times you held me at night
forget the times you told me
that we would be alright
drowning in humiliation
for thinking that you cared
crying thinking
about the memories we've shared
forget the grief you've inflicted
forget what we had
and I'll forget too
cause if i remember I'll be sad
and i dont want to be sad...
