In Love With Him

by I love you always and today   Jul 22, 2007

I love this boy
But my mom disagrees
She says that he just wants me as a play toy
But I tell her she just can't see

She tells me you are just in puppy love
And gives me a playful shove
I say he makes me laugh and better smile
And than she tells me love takes a while

I sneak out the house just to see him in the park
And we meet at the bridge by the beautiful lake
Sometimes I get cold and scared from the howling wind and the sky so dark
And he holds his jacket over me as I shake

I forget about my mom all the time
And tell myself it's OK it will be all fine
I'm proud to say I have him for me
If only my mom will let this be

I hate when she stares
Just so I would fess up to my mistake
And than she'll give me a hateful glare
As she's walking away I said one dinner is all it will take

And she knew what I meant
And I hope I knew to
I'm telling her he can be a boy so descent
And she'll watch almost everything he'll do

We'll talk and we'll laugh
Just like we do like always
And we'll be together for the last half
Just like good old days

She finally said yes
I told her she's the best
I called him up moments after
I told him the news and we're so happy it made laughter

We had our dinner without a fight
And it managed through the night
And yet still together
Hoping its forever
