Guardian

by Maziyah   Jul 22, 2007

Spattered on the tiles,
As they trickled down your cheeks
Let us segregate
They don't understand.

I couldn't utter a word
I feel myself shattering into pieces,
Wishing I could run to you at this very moment
Even through the sleet

Turbid, the future ahead of us
But I know you'll do just fine
Oh my sweetheart, don't you worry
For I am always here, beyond the skyline
Watching over you..
