Inner Cries Of release

by Nikki   Jul 22, 2007

Darkness and Depression,
Suffocation and Suppression.
Her inner child screams for help,
she's locked away in a cage.

"I'm sorry little girl,
i had to put you there,
don't worry,
yes,
you'll be safe here"

The darkness chases away the sun,
Lights glow in the air.
Happiness is faded now,
Screaming is all you'll hear.
Hate boils up inside
and she screams for someone help
Filthy Lies dwell within
All her feelings she confides.

"Little Girl in the mirror
don't look at me like that,
i did what i had to do
Now there's no turning back
I'm not going to cry this time,
No i'm not like you"

Dead locks bolted on her heart,
nothing's getting in.
But something always finds its way,
a deadly thing called sin.
It eats away at her
day and night, night and day.
Nothing is made to win.
No not in this new land.

"Little girl in the mirror,
Go away and let me be,
I don't want to be here,
You should know better then anyone,
why i don't want to be me!"

Pressure,
Now her skin begins to part.
Her eyes begin to well
Now this is what she calls hell.
Living her life as a lie,
pretending that she's fine.
But the devil had said himself.
"Sorry but your soul is mine"
