Thoughts

by out of the shadows and into the light   Jul 22, 2007

She sits alone in her room
it’s quiet and dark
she sits and thinks
why am I here
what do I do
the thoughts
they race through her head
its gets loud
the lights come on
the thoughts
their gone
she screams
the world stops
the thoughts
they race through her head
the people
they look and stare
she’s alone
no one knows
knows the way she feels
the world grows dark
everything’s quiet
the thoughts
they race through her head
they stop
she sleeps
when she wakes
she knows they will return
the things
that haunt her mind
the thoughts
they race through her head
they race and race to the end

Unique in its own style and flowing very well. The word choice is simple and great. No ambiguity and probs in flow. Overall a wonderful write. Well penned and well written.

The whole poem is very cohesive and the words really strung each other. 5/5

I felt like I was reading about myself. I rarely find that around here. I loved it! <3
