SUPER-GIRL

by esther   Jul 22, 2007

She thought she was a flop
has nothing to show off with.
Always wanted to be at the top
Until her life became a myth.

Her fortune wanted her to meet
An old, wise alchemist.
She asked if he would be so sweet
To mix a potion from his list.

He warned her,
Horror written in his face,
Changing skills and character
Is not the job of chemicals.

To blind to understand,
She begged until the time
When he agreed to her demand
Knowing she would not feel fine

The chemicals soon touched her lips
She felt like super-girl.
A strength from feet to fingertips
Proved she's Earth's most gifted pearl.

All her dreams were now fulfilled:
Glory, fame, and admiration.
But her perfection soon had killed
Her appreciation for ovation.

She was still unfortunate
She had reached the furthest away star.
But deep inside she was obsessed
With having somewhere to reach out far.
