At Exactly Eleven Forty Two

And he called me at exactly 11:42
I knew that it was time to pay my do's
He said "baby You know I love you
But everything I do
Never seems to be enough for you"
I said,"No honey you do just enough for me
dont you see..?
You've been there for it all"
By then i was pacing down the hall
He said,"This is were i leave you for good
Trust me I know i should,
But I want you to stay strong.
Im just happy that I got to hold you for this long"
I started to cry
And with a sigh
I said,"It would be a lie
to say that i didnt want to hold you till the day that I die"
And with a muffled voice he said
"Trust me when i say that im better off dead"
Thats when I heard the dial tone
that meant he had hung up the phone..
"goodbye my angel"

    I loved the flow in this. It just rolled right of my tongue.
    I thought this was beautifully written, while filled with such melancholy, it still made for a beautiful and interesting read.

    The emotion and depth in this piece are easy to see,and the ending you chose worked wonderfully, a perfect end to this piece.
