The Bard's Song

by Vesper   Jul 22, 2007

The Bard has returned
From lands far away
His songs long to be heard
His fiddle needs to be played

He'll sing you a story
Of love and desire
It's a song of glory
It tells of a still blazing fire

A boy met a girl
He'll sing with a smile
she entered his world
And decided to stay for a while

with the warmth of her touch
And the sun in her eyes
A heart hurt so much
Now flies up in the skies

The Bard sings and sings
You feel happy and warm
And the joy his song brings
Makes you think of a picture back home

It's of you and a girl
You're holding her close
She's like a shiny pearl
You feel as if in the dark she glows

Your lady in red
Your beautiful dove
Enough has been said
One more word - - - Love...
