The Something to Everything

You are the sweet that goes with every sour
The rainbow after every storm
You are good in every shape and form

You are the innocence in every child
The sensation after a first kiss
You are the feeling that puts my heart in a state of bliss

You are the pep in every step
The squeeze in every hug
You are the welcome home on every rug

You are the twinkle in my eyes
The smile on a new father's face
You are the love in every embrace

You are the sparkle in every tear
The good in every bad
You are the smile after every sad

You are the cure to every ailment
The counter to every curse
You are the reason to live in this universe

You are all these things and so much more
You do not care if you were rich or poor
That is a quality that most do not lust
But it is the reason that in you I trust

We have not met
But when we do
All these will be true
I will wait for you
