Sapphire Eyes

by ntv650   Jul 22, 2007

Crystal stars, ruby scars and my sapphire eyes.
Why do you cry when we talk from far apart,
Because I still, even without your face in sight,
Hold you in my heart, and your sapphire eyes.

Broken shards, mended hearts and bright lights,
Don't come again if all you offer is pain and loss.
Instead, don't leave me at the first, and stay forever,
And find the last resort behind those sapphire eyes.

Sapphire eyes, sapphire eyes, do not hide your blue hue,
Sparkle for me my little star, however small you are.
Glitter and shimmer against all the oceans and all the skies,
So that whether in day or night-light if ever from you lost,
I can find myself again, by your shining sapphire eyes!
