Back Down to Fate

by Andrea Raquel   Jul 23, 2007

Our Past is made of Misery
Of Pain without an end.
Of many golden mysteries.
Oh, Darling, let's pretend.

We'll be in castles, far away.
We'll look upon another day.
And when the pictures fade to gray,
We'll come back down to Fate.

This hate had no beginning,
And it has no end.
There seems no way of winning
In his game of "Let's Pretend"

We're running now, full circle,
There is no way to tell.
If we're rounding to the Pearled Gates,
Or gliding deeper into Hell.

I'm looking back on yonder days,
Thinking of the fonder ways
I'm crying now, how things have changed.
Goodbye, my harrowed Sweet.

A drop of blood, begin it all.
Mirrored Universal Fall.
And when I'm cast in bloody pall,
We'll come back down to Fate.
