The day has been so long,
The sun has been shining up the day,
Now it is time for it to rest,
And let the stars come out and play,
How do we know when it’s time,
And can we watch it go,
When the sky turns pretty colors,
Then trust me you will know,

When the sun just barely peaks above the horizon,
It’s the best time to say goodbye,
Say hello to the moon and stars,
And sleep until the sunrise,
Light blues mixed with purples and pinks,
With a light of fire peaking through,
Let’s stand by the ocean side,
And let’s watch the night make the day subdue,

Let’s watch it by the ocean,
Where it reflects off the water so we see two,
The sight so magnificent,
As we see the light, colors then fire peaking through,
As the ocean waves crash down,
Making it a lullaby,
Let’s stand together,
And watch the sun disappear from the sky,

Then as it reaches the last light,
And the last streak of fire passes through,
Look me into my eyes,
Kiss me and say I love you,
As the sun begins to sets,
Let’s gather by the ocean shore,
But as we do the first one,
We must do so much more,

As we do our sunset kiss,
And sun gets ready to rest,
Put your lips to mine,
And release all your inner stress,
Look into my eyes,
As the fire reflects and makes them twinkle bright,
Hold the kiss,
And look into my eyes as we see the beginning of night,

I have a little something,
that is romantic and sweet,
something so special,
will make both of our hearts skip a beat,
come with me to the ocean,
this you don’t want to miss,
as the sun goes to sleep,
before it all disappears lets have a sunset kiss…
