Anger

I can't take it anymore
The anger we all poses
Because not only am I dealing with mine but yours I must confess
Because I learned to read you like a book
Despite the constant reassurance nothings wrong
But I know the truth, I've known it all along
We can't hide from each other
Because we know so well
That without each other we're practically in hell
There's nothing we can do to change our thoughtless ways
We don't bother to try
Why end up in a daze
So we give in and turn to our anger
What we believe to be the greatest weapon of them all
Only for us to be hurt with no one to catch us when we fall
It's sad but true
Because we gave up so now, there's no longer a me and you
