Karma of Love

Being in love,
Can be joyous and great
But beneath some love,
Hides a grim fate

It is a fate that is dark,
Love that is based on greed
One lover will be used,
Simply to fill a need

A need of a certain image,
To be liked by one and all
The user's main goal,
Was to avoid a public fall

But a fall is inevitable,
It is there plain and simple
The heart of the lover,
Will no longer be nimble

Their heart will not care,
It will not long
They question everything,
Not knowing they weren't wrong

They will think love is cruel,
But love is not to blame
It is shallow people in our world,
Who live life without shame

In the end,
It will all even out
You're living your glorious life,
It is now the user's turn to pout

They wasted their time,
Working on a look
They simply forgot,
It is what's inside the book

They don't have love,
They have their flesh and bone
Now they finish their shallow life,
Living all alone
