Where is God?

by Marius Laun   Jul 23, 2007

As I fall
to a pit of despair,
I know God
He doesn't care.

Now is the time
I need him the most,
But he's up and vanished,
Just like a ghost

If he cared
he'd send a sign,
That I'm not alone
and left behind.

And as the light leaves me
and darkness enshrouds
The quiet peace is gone,
and the sorrow is loud

So now I wait
for a timely demise.
I pray I will see god,
When he cries

So I know he cared
but couldn't help me,
For a greater good will come
That I soon will see.

I liked this one but some of the rhyming seem sort of forced.. but other than that it was really enjoyable to read!!! keep it up! :o]

Wow! Good poem. The flow is good and the passion is right there! It has so much emotion that you can feel it all the way through the poem. Great job!

The message was evidently a fact and I agree with every word said.

I liked this part because I think I can relate to it pretty much.

This is a well written piece.

This was a great piece of art, the flow to this one was flawless just like the rhymes. You did a fantastic job, yet I would like to mention that you should place punctuation in your work, i find that...poetry without punctuation is like a song without a melody. I have learned that on this site, I hope my advice is of any help. I think that you are a great writer, keep writing!
