Say Something.

Say Something.

Terrified looks scream " save my soul, "
and mesmerized moves announce " black as coal."
As selfish morals rise to the top, amazingly too late,
and depths* of one's dreams slowly separate.

Salvation* saves us all, preventing future suffering.
But, I believe not, it saves us from each others dreadful offering.
Replacing each fear with misinterpretation,
of another life, another place, another time in another nation.

We underestimate* the quality of this life
with suicidal thoughts and these bloody knifes.
Collections* of superior mentality and personal failures increase,
as self-esteem, joy, and happiness incredibly lower and decease.

And, I'm begging you to say something,
before the last bells finally ring.
For screaming no longer works in this world,
and memories never fade, so just two words..

And, maybe we'll be half saved.

All words with (*) are words that were given to me by Justin, while I was stuck. Haahaa.

I liked the meaning which was portrayed throughout this poem, It was really interesting and holding so much truth. The flow to me was spot on and each word stuck such powerful emotion. To me I couldn't find a flaw or a flow problem. Well done ~mel
