Why should I care
If you don't care for me?
Why do I hold myself down
When I just want to be set free?
Why do I say yes
When I really mean no?
Why do I hide my feelings
And never let them show?
Why do I screw things up
That are just meant to be?
Why do I hide behind my skin
Why cant I just be me?
Why do I tell you to leave
When I want you to stay?
Why do I give it my all
When nothing positive comes my way?
Why should I wait
If no ones ever there?
All I hear is never true
So why should I care?
