Baby, That'd Be All Right

by *Charisma*   Jul 24, 2007

For Just One Day

Ever feel like it's all going wrong
No matter what you try it just ain't right.
It seems like I live in "one of those days"
And I wonder why it's all such a fight.

Life comes on too fast for me sometimes.
I get a little tired of an uphill ride.
Just wanna turn on my the country radio
And pretend things are going just fine.

And you're here beside me
Tellin' me you love me.
Everything it feels so right.
I'm wrapped up in your arms
You're tangled in my heart.
Baby, that'd be all right.

So I know life's not a fairytale
And happy ending's aren't always great
But wouldn't it be beautiful
If they could be for just one day.

And you're here beside me.
Tellin' me you love me.
Everything it feels so right.
I'm wrapped up in your arms.
You're tangled in my heart.
Baby, that'd be all right.

*So the flow isn't perfect and rhyme isn't right on, but it's me and it's country, and it's how I feel...

I think the picture it portrayed is pretty good. And I think you focus on rhyme and flow TOO much, so there's no complaint here about that. I think that poetry should be a way to release your feelings, and if that takes bending the rules a little then so be it.

    I love this!
But I also love country music, and I think that the no lfow and ryhme didn't even matter!
Overall, the whole poem was great!
