Little Fairy

by Lithium   Jul 24, 2007

Mystical fairy upon heavenly clouds,
Why do you frown so?
Are your wings to broken to fly?
Did you loose your happiness long ago?

Smile pretty fairy, for you are special,
Your magic brings light to those in need,
In the darkest hours you're their sanity,
Now its time to heed you're lasting plead,

Take my hand sweet little fairy,
I will catch your crystal tears,
And with them I shall take your sorrows,
And lock them up for many years,

Open your eyes precious little fairy,
And make a wish on this star tonight,
Take all the time and all the world,
To bring your weeping heart some light,

Little fairy you are so dear to me,
You taught me things like how to be free,
It's your turn to learn little fairy,
That there's more to life than what you can see.

[I got this idea from a picture called "Once was Innocent Colour" by Selina French. It's a beautiful painting]
