But still i love you

by njabulo b   Jul 24, 2007

I have gave you all my heart
showed you all my love
but all what you gave me is pains
you showed me half of your love
to survive we must endure
i wait hoping you will change
instead you got worse
you started break all your promises
you hurt my feelings
while i was having nothing to do
you accompanied me with so many in your heart
i cried for so long inside
but after all this conflict ion
i forgive you and still i love you
i love you with no reason now
all what i loved you for you had break why do i continue love you
externally you beautiful but internally you bad
but still i love you

Disregarding the poem's technical errors, I see another promising work, which could be enhanced in the future, along with a rather nice concept. Sometimes the person one loves doesn't have to perfectly match up with one's ideals, for it only leads to disappointment. Perfection isn't always necessary when it comes to loving a person, or choosing a person to love. In fact, due to the said person's imperfections, the subject's feelings for her grew even more...just my thoughts anyway... :) Thanks for sharing.

What a good poem about broken love. Losing your love is so painful. This can be felt in the words you have penned.
